MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program in Land O Lakes, FL, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our primary mission is to screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities annually for obesity, ensuring they receive referrals to the most appropriate weight management resources tailored to their individual needs and preferences. We offer a variety of support options, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which provides in-home messaging and clinician contact as needed. For those who choose to manage their weight independently, our MOVE! Coach mobile app is available. In cases where traditional methods are not sufficient, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who are ready to take further steps.
