Kimberleigh Stickney

Kimberleigh Stickney is a dedicated counselor specializing in supporting individuals through trauma and PTSD, anxiety, and life transitions. She understands the profound need for social connection and acceptance, recognizing that many face disruptions in life that can leave them feeling isolated and misunderstood. With a strong passion for helping her clients develop healthy coping strategies, Kimberleigh guides them through the complexities of their experiences, fostering meaningful connections along the way. Her extensive training in various therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), equips her with a diverse toolkit that she tailors to meet the unique needs of each client. Kimberleigh holds an M.Ed. in Mental Health Counseling from Florida Atlantic University and has gained invaluable experience during her clinical internship at a substance abuse and mental health facility in South Florida, where she worked extensively with military and veteran clients. Prior to her counseling career, she served proudly in the United States Airforce as a Medical Technician/EMT, further enriching her understanding of the challenges faced by her clients.
