At the Healthy Start Coalition in Gainesville, FL, we are dedicated to improving health outcomes for mothers, infants, and young children up to age three. Our mission centers on reducing infant mortality and addressing low birth weight through comprehensive support services tailored for pregnant women and their families. We offer vital resources including care coordination, childbirth and parenting education, nutrition counseling, psychosocial support, and tobacco cessation programs. Every pregnant woman, regardless of marital, economic, or immigration status, who is at high risk for poor pregnancy outcomes is encouraged to participate in our program.
