Dennis Cain is a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist with over 15 years of experience, specializing in diverse areas such as trauma recovery, grief and loss, and relationship repair. As a retired Navy Veteran, he brings a unique perspective to his work, particularly with Veterans, individuals recovering from substance abuse, and those seeking to mend broken marriages. Dennis has achieved Level II training in EMDR and has pursued advanced training in various methods, including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT-C), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Interventions for Substance Abuse (CBI-SA), and Family Systems therapy. He is particularly adept at addressing anxiety disorders, depression, and issues rooted in clients' family of origin dynamics. In his sessions with couples, Dennis employs evidence-based techniques such as Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Imago therapy, and the Gottman Method to help partners rebuild trust, enhance communication, and foster intimacy.
