Healthy Start Coalition, based in Daytona Beach, FL, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of pregnant women, infants, and children up to three years of age. Our mission is to reduce infant mortality, decrease the number of low birth weight babies, and improve health outcomes through comprehensive support services tailored to high-risk pregnancies. We offer vital resources, including outreach programs, care coordination for access to essential services, childbirth and parenting education, nutrition counseling, psychosocial support, tobacco education and cessation assistance, breastfeeding guidance, and home visiting services. All pregnant women, regardless of marital, economic, or immigration status, are encouraged to participate if they are deemed at high risk for poor pregnancy outcomes.
