Healthy Start Coalition in Cape Coral, FL is dedicated to improving the health and developmental outcomes for pregnant women, infants, and children up to age three, with a focus on reducing infant mortality and the incidence of low birth weight babies. We offer a range of essential support services tailored to meet the unique needs of each family, including outreach initiatives, care coordination for access to vital services, childbirth and parenting education, nutrition and psychosocial counseling, as well as tobacco cessation support and breastfeeding education. Our program is inclusive, welcoming all pregnant women at high risk for poor pregnancy outcomes, regardless of marital status, economic background, or immigration status, as well as postpartum women and their infants.
