Caridad (cari) Guerra

Caridad Guerra, a registered mental health counselor intern, possesses an empathetic approach that enables her to see beyond the masks individuals wear. She invites clients to uncover, at their own pace, the motivations behind their journey into therapy. Through a focus on various identities, she assists clients in exploring both internal and external conflicts, working collaboratively to identify personal issues, goals, and comfortable strategies for progress. With her guidance, clients engage in a gradual unmasking process that allows them to unpack and understand the obstacles they face. This journey marks the beginning of meaningful progress and transformation. Caridad works with teenagers, adults, and couples, offering her expertise in several areas, including Addiction, Trauma, and Veterans' issues. Trained and certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), she also provides valuable support for LGBTQ individuals and couples, as well as those involved in Poly and BDSM communities. Understanding that life can be overwhelming, she emphasizes resilience and strength, helping clients recognize their inherent abilities.
