Connecticut WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) in Vernon Rockville is dedicated to supporting low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old, by promoting healthy eating habits. Our program offers vital resources such as nutrition education, breastfeeding assistance, and referrals to necessary health and social services. Participants receive an Electronic Benefits Card that allows them to purchase nutritious foods, ensuring that families have access to the vital resources they need to thrive. While our offices currently operate by phone appointments due to COVID-19, we welcome new applicants seeking food assistance to reach out and learn more about the application process to join our program and enhance their family's health and nutrition.
