Connecticut WIC serves the South Windsor community by providing vital food assistance and nutritional support to low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our program focuses on promoting healthy eating habits through personalized nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and referrals to essential health and social services. Participants benefit from an Electronic Benefits Card, which allows them to purchase nutritious foods to support their families. While our offices are currently open for phone appointments only due to COVID-19, we are dedicated to helping new applicants find the necessary resources to get started with WIC.
