Family Grants is dedicated to supporting families in New Canaan, CT who have experienced the loss of a loved one due to breast cancer. Our mission is to alleviate financial and logistical burdens while providing psychological, social, and financial assistance tailored to the unique needs of each family. We offer support for a variety of essential services, including summer camp fees, childcare, counseling, tutoring, extracurricular activities, and wellness classes. We understand that every family's situation is different, which is why we encourage applicants to share any specific needs they may have that are not listed. Ideal candidates for our grants are families in immediate financial distress who lack other forms of assistance and are facing challenges such as high medical bills or lost wages due to a loved one's battle with cancer. We aim to provide timely support, with applications generally processed and funding delivered within 3-4 weeks. By directly paying third-party service providers, we ensure that families receive the help they need when they need it most.
