Located in Jewett City, CT, Young Adult Services (YAS) provides a compassionate and structured environment for young adults aged 18 to 25 facing trauma and mental health challenges. Our program is thoughtfully designed to support individuals for 18 to 24 months, focusing on essential life skills development within a supportive residential setting. Collaborating closely with the Southeastern Mental Health Authority (SMHA) and the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS), we ensure comprehensive care that includes 24/7 support, individualized goal planning, and a wide array of resources such as budgeting, cooking, and health management. Our holistic approach emphasizes the least restrictive methods tailored to the unique needs of each young adult while fostering community engagement through peer mentoring and volunteer opportunities.
