Mary Olson, PhD, LICSW, is a distinguished Clinical Social Worker and therapist with over 30 years of experience in helping individuals navigate life’s most profound crises and challenges. She believes in the inherent potential within every individual and the opportunities for growth embedded in each situation. Welcoming individuals aged 15 and above, as well as couples and families, Mary has garnered respect and recognition in her field. Her credentials include serving as a Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at Yale School of Medicine and being a Fulbright Scholar in Clinical Psychology. She is also an elected member of the American Family Therapy Academy and has previously taught at Smith College School for Social Work. With a relational and contextual approach, she emphasizes listening, empathy, dialogue, and safety in her sessions.
