Jennifer Baumgold, LCSW, is a dedicated Clinical Social Worker and Therapist with over 12 years of experience in the field. She believes that the foundation of therapeutic success lies in the strong relationship formed between the therapist and client. Jennifer's aim is to foster a safe and supportive environment, allowing for collaborative treatment planning tailored to each individual's needs. With extensive expertise in addressing trauma and PTSD, anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and anger management, she also focuses on assisting clients in navigating significant life transitions such as infertility, grief, aging, divorce, chronic illness, and parenting challenges. Having spent a significant portion of her career serving the Fire Department of New York City Counseling Service Unit, Jennifer provided individual, couple, family, and group psychotherapy to FDNY members and their families. Additionally, she is trained in EMDR, an evidence-based approach for trauma treatment. Jennifer is also committed to nurturing the next generation of therapists by offering clinical supervision for social workers pursuing their LCSW license.
