Janine Hitchens Parker is a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 24 years of experience helping teens, adults, and seniors navigate the complexities of low self-esteem, depression, addiction, anxiety, and life transitions. She completed her Master's degree at the esteemed Hunter College Graduate School of Social Work in New York City before earning her Social Worker's license upon relocating to Connecticut. In addition to her LCSW, Janine holds a SIFI certification as a Field Instructor. Her therapeutic modalities include eclectic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), among others. Janine is adept at addressing diverse issues, including Bipolar Disorder, Trauma and PTSD, relationship challenges, and the unique needs of the LGBTQ+ community.
