Prior to becoming a therapist, he earned a Ph.D. in an allied field and devoted 16 years to teaching at prestigious institutions such as UCLA, USC, and Antioch University West. His quest for knowledge led him back to academic and clinical training, specializing in working with children and families while further pursuing psychoanalytic studies for adults and adolescents. Seniel’s therapeutic approach is developmental, recognizing the body's and mind's growth influenced by life’s many encounters. He skillfully integrates strengths from diverse therapeutic perspectives, including cognitive-behavioral techniques, acknowledging that problems often have multifaceted origins and can be addressed through various methods.
