At CORE, we are dedicated to providing essential financial assistance to families working in the restaurant industry in Avon, CT, who are facing financial challenges due to illness or medical emergencies. Our program supports food and beverage service employees and their children by covering critical expenses such as rent or mortgage, utilities, medical bills, and childcare costs. We understand the strain that unexpected medical situations can place on families, which is why we also assist with travel, food, and gas for hospital visits, as well as everyday child needs like diapers and formula. While our grant recipients are eligible to apply for assistance again only after 12 months from their previous award, we are here to offer support every step of the way, up to a lifetime cap of $7,500.
