Meals on Wheels Program

Meals on Wheels Program in Parker, CO, is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to seniors aged 60 and over who are homebound, live alone, or struggle to prepare their own meals. We understand the unique challenges faced by our senior community, which is why we deliver five frozen meals each week directly to their homes in Douglas County, including the Parker, Franktown, Highland Ranch, Castle Rock, Sedalia, and Larkspur areas. Our compassionate volunteers ensure that each senior receives a nutritious meal while fostering connections within the community. While our services are free, we kindly suggest a contribution of $2.50 per meal to help sustain our program, and no one is ever turned away due to their financial situation. New clients can easily access our service with a simple 20-minute phone conversation with the Douglas County Meals on Wheels Coordinator, after which meal deliveries can begin the following week. To ensure continued support, we conduct a reassessment of service after six months of meal delivery, maintaining our commitment to the well-being of our seniors.
