Financial Assistance for Military Families

In Palisade, Colorado, the American Red Cross is dedicated to providing essential financial assistance for military families navigating times of hardship. Collaborating with military aid societies, we offer reliable support 24 hours a day, year-round, ensuring that eligible applicants have access to emergency funds when they need them most. Our program addresses various urgent needs, including financial aid for emergency travel, burial expenses, and assistance with emergency food and shelter. While the Red Cross facilitates the application process, military aid societies assess eligibility and determine the appropriate financial assistance package. Service members can easily submit requests online, and additional support is available through our Hero Care Center.
