Everyday Eats (CSFP)- 60+ Individuals ONLY

Everyday Eats is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of low-income seniors aged 60 and older in Montrose, Colorado, through the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP). This essential initiative provides qualified individuals with nutritious monthly food boxes filled with essential items, including non-perishable protein, powdered or UHT milk, juice, cereal, canned or dried fruits and vegetables, and refrigerated cheese. Along with nourishing food, our program offers valuable nutrition education and easy-to-follow recipes, ensuring that seniors not only receive sustenance but also knowledge about healthy eating. We partner with various local agencies to ensure effective outreach and distribution of food boxes to prevent hunger among older adults. While we have multiple distribution sites conveniently located throughout the region, homebound delivery is also available in select counties, making it easier for seniors to access food assistance. To qualify, participants must meet specific income criteria, and we are here to guide you through the certification process. Everyday Eats aims to ensure that no senior in our community goes hungry, providing essential food assistance and support in a compassionate and caring environment.
