Janet Buntrock does not view individuals seeking counseling as broken. Rather, her approach is to come alongside her clients in their healing journey. She understands that often, the most essential element is a safe place to explore thoughts and feelings. Janet provides that safe space, ensuring there is no judgment for anything shared. With a solid foundation as a Licensed Professional Counselor, Critical Incident Responder, Educator, Grief Specialist, Spiritual Director, Early Childhood Specialist, and National Board Certified professional, she is well-equipped to support clients from various backgrounds, including preteens, children, teens, and adults. Janet has a deep passion for helping people discover light in the darkness, particularly focusing on grief and loss, as well as chronic illness and family systems work after the loss of a child. With over ten years of experience as an outside consultant in both public and private schools, she is committed to addressing issues such as relationship challenges, trauma and PTSD, and family conflict with an array of therapy modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Family Systems, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). Janet welcomes questions and is ready to accompany clients on their path to healing.
