Everyday Eats (CSFP)- 60+ Individuals ONLY

Everyday Eats, part of the federally recognized Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP), is committed to enhancing the health and nutrition of low-income individuals aged 60 and older in Las Animas, Colorado. Our program provides eligible seniors with a monthly food box filled with nutritious staples, including non-perishable proteins, powdered or UHT milk, juice, cereal, canned or dried fruits and vegetables, and refrigerated cheese. Each box also contains valuable nutrition education materials and recipes to promote healthy eating. We partner with various agencies across multiple counties to facilitate the distribution of these grocery boxes, ensuring that no senior goes hungry. For those who are homebound, we provide delivery options in select counties, making our services more accessible. To qualify, seniors must be residents of Colorado, meet specific income guidelines, and be at least 60 years of age.
