Meals on Wheels Program

The Meals on Wheels Program is dedicated to serving seniors aged 60 and over in Larkspur, CO, and throughout Douglas County, who are homebound or unable to prepare their own meals. Our mission is to ensure that these individuals receive nutritious meals and the compassion they deserve. Each week, our volunteers deliver five frozen meals directly to clients’ homes, with distributions scheduled on Tuesdays for Parker, Franktown, and Highland Ranch, and on Thursdays for Castle Rock, Sedalia, and Larkspur. While meals are provided at no cost, we encourage a suggested contribution of $2.50 per meal, ensuring that no one is denied service based on their ability to pay. To start receiving meals, individuals can initiate a simple 20-minute phone call with our coordinator, paving the way for convenient meal delivery as soon as the following week. After six months of service, a reassessment visit will be conducted to ensure ongoing eligibility and support.
