Everyday Eats (CSFP)- 60+ Individuals ONLY

Everyday Eats, part of the federally recognized Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP), is dedicated to enhancing the health and nutrition of low-income individuals aged 60 and older in La Junta, CO. We provide eligible seniors with a monthly food box filled with essential items such as non-perishable proteins, powdered or UHT milk, juice, cereal, canned or dried fruits and vegetables, and refrigerated cheese, along with valuable nutrition education and recipes to promote healthy eating. We believe that no older adult should go hungry, and to achieve this, our team collaborates with partner agencies to ensure effective outreach and distribution of these nutritious food boxes. Our service area spans across various counties in Colorado, with homebound delivery options available in select regions. To join our program, individuals must meet the income eligibility criteria and can easily find a local distribution site through our Pantry Locator. We are committed to serving our seniors with warmth and care, ensuring that nutritious food is within reach for those who need it most.
