Cohen Military Family Clinic located at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, individuals can find confidential, compassionate, and personalized mental health care tailored for post-9/11 Veterans, National Guard and Reserve members, and their family members, including spouses, children, parents, and caregivers. The clinic is committed to ensuring that support is available regardless of discharge status, military role, combat experience, financial situation, or insurance coverage. Family members can access these vital services independently of whether the Veteran or Service Member is engaged with the clinic. The clinic offers various options, including telehealth (online therapy), financial and transportation assistance, and complimentary childcare, all facilitated by culturally-competent professionals trained specifically to assist veterans and their families. Services can be provided to Veterans and their family members both individually and as a collective family unit under the same dedicated treatment team. The highly-skilled clinicians address a range of behavioral health challenges, such as depression, stress, PTSD, substance misuse, sleep difficulties, anxiety disorders, anger management, grief and loss, transitional issues, children’s behavioral concerns, and family relationship challenges.
