Everyday Eats, part of the federal Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP), is dedicated to enhancing the health and nutrition of low-income seniors aged 60 and above in Evergreen, CO. Our program provides eligible seniors with a monthly food box filled with nourishing items such as non-perishable proteins, powdered or UHT milk, juice, cereal, canned and dried fruits and vegetables, and refrigerated cheese. Each box also includes helpful nutrition education and recipes to promote healthy eating. With a commitment to ensuring that no older adult goes hungry, we offer distribution sites across the metro Denver area, along with partner agencies that assist in outreach, certification, and the distribution of these essential grocery boxes. We serve a wide range of counties, including Jefferson, Adams, and Douglas, and provide homebound delivery services in designated areas for seniors unable to visit our sites. To qualify for our food assistance, participants must be at least 60 years old, reside in Colorado, and meet specific income guidelines. Join us in our mission to support the dietary needs of our community's seniors by utilizing our Pantry Locator to find the nearest food distribution point.
