Meals on Wheels Program

Meals on Wheels Program serves the Douglas County community in Castle Rock, CO, providing essential food assistance to seniors aged 60 and over who are homebound or living alone and unable to prepare their own meals. Our dedicated volunteers deliver five frozen meals each week to ensure that those in need have access to nutritious food. Meals are delivered on Tuesdays for the Parker, Franktown, and Highland Ranch areas, and on Thursdays for Castle Rock, Sedalia, and Larkspur. While meals are offered free of charge, we suggest a contribution of $2.50 per meal, though no one is ever turned away based on their ability to pay. To begin receiving meal deliveries, a simple 20-minute phone conversation is all it takes to set up services, allowing us to provide support promptly. After six months of service, we conduct a reassessment to ensure continued assistance for our clients.
