MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! is a dedicated weight management and health promotion program located in Basalt, Colorado, specifically designed to enhance the well-being of Veterans. Our mission is to support every Veteran who receives care at VA facilities by screening them annually for obesity and providing tailored weight management services that cater to their unique needs and preferences. We offer a variety of care options including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which allows for in-home messaging and clinician contact. For those who prefer self-management, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available, along with additional support through weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who continue to face challenges with overweight or related health issues.
