Richard Wendt

Richard Wendt is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with an extensive background in counseling and ministry. He holds a Masters of Arts in Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling, as well as a Masters of Divinity focused on New Testament Theology from Fresno Pacific Biblical Seminary. With specialized training in traumatic stress, Richard is adept at addressing Trauma and PTSD for both adults and children, complemented by post-graduate studies in neurophysiology. His rich experience includes working in law enforcement, firefighting, and as a Paramedic, alongside serving in various ministry roles as a pastor, chaplain, and pastoral counselor. Richard's previous roles at the College of the Sequoias, Visalia Youth Services, and Trinity Ministries Group highlight his commitment to serving diverse populations. He is passionate about working with adults, adolescents, children, families, and couples, with a particular focus on behavioral, mood, and anxiety challenges. Additionally, he extends his expertise to military personnel, law enforcement, firefighters, and paramedics, often assisting their families. Richard's approach is characterized by a collaborative spirit, aimed at fostering healthier relationships and developing effective coping skills in those he serves.
