MOVE! Weight Management Program

The MOVE! Weight Management Program in Ventura, CA, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened for obesity annually, and we provide a variety of personalized treatment options that cater to their unique needs. With offerings such as group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! for convenient in-home support, we empower Veterans on their weight loss journeys. For those who prefer a self-directed approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app offers invaluable tools for progress tracking. Furthermore, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who, despite our program, face ongoing challenges with weight management.
