Sipora Weissman

Sipora Weissman is a compassionate Clinical Social Worker and Therapist, holding an MSW and LCSW credentials, along with being an associate clinical social worker (ACSW). She understands the challenges of living with chronic pain, anxiety, and the unique experiences of highly sensitive individuals. Sipora specializes in addressing complex trauma and specific sensitivities such as misophonia. By guiding clients in connecting the dots between their childhood experiences and current distress, she facilitates transformative self-discovery. Her approach to therapy is collaborative, engaging clients in the healing process as a Mind-Body Therapist and active guide. With a focus on trauma, anxiety syndromes, and mind-body syndromes, including Tension Myositis Syndrome (TMS) and related conditions, she employs a variety of therapeutic modalities tailored to individual needs. Sipora is eager to explore the potential of neuroplasticity and the brain's ability to change, believing wholeheartedly in the possibility of healing. She is a Certified Trauma Professional, fully trained in EMDR and actively training in Somatic Experiencing. Sipora works with both adults and teens, offering her services both in-person and online. Her dedication to helping others navigate their paths towards growth and recovery is at the heart of her practice.
