Christina Lucey-Ventura, MA, AMFT, is a compassionate and client-centered marriage and family therapist associate who works with individuals, couples, families, and groups across all ages. She aims to cultivate a safe and supportive environment where clients feel their multifaceted experiences are honored, validated, and understood. Christina's therapeutic approach is interdisciplinary, integrating psychodynamic techniques, attachment-based therapy, and trauma-informed practices. She is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). With a background in Cultural Anthropology from the Evergreen State College, Christina brings a unique perspective to her practice, having researched immigration policy, the dismantling of racism and ethnophobia, and LGBTQI+ affirmative social action. Prior to her journey in the social sciences, she worked as an artist and designer, infusing her creative insights into the therapeutic process when appropriate. Christina is dedicated to guiding her clients on their paths toward healing and growth.
