MOVE! Weight Management Program in Torrance, CA is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity and to connect them with tailored weight management resources that suit their individual preferences and needs. We offer a variety of evidence-based options, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! program, which provides in-home messaging and clinician contact. For those who prefer a more independent approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available. Additionally, we support Veterans in accessing weight loss medications and bariatric surgery when traditional methods haven’t led to success.
