Patches of Light is dedicated to supporting families in Simi Valley, CA, who are navigating the challenging intersection of catastrophic health issues and financial hardship. We work closely with hospital staff to ensure that each family's situation is authentically represented while maintaining strict confidentiality. Applications for aid typically take 2-3 weeks to process, and it's important for hospital staff to submit these applications on behalf of the families, as direct applications from families are not accepted. To streamline the process, we encourage a follow-up email to confirm receipt of the application to help us assist families more efficiently. Together, we aim to bring light and relief to those in need during their most difficult times.
