Lori Salinas

Lori Salinas is a dedicated Marriage & Family Therapist (MFT) specializing in domestic violence, child abuse, and sexual assault. With over 10 years of experience working with victims of crime from the District Attorney's office, she provides compassionate and effective support to individuals, couples, and families in crisis. Lori collaborates with CCC Superior Court and Family and Criminal courts to assist clients in regaining visitation rights with their children following arrests or involvement with Child Family Services. As a seasoned systems therapist, she offers couples therapy and reunification therapy, alongside individualized support for teens facing challenges at school and home. Lori’s unique expertise is complemented by her MS degree in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Public Safety, which she obtained in 2013. Recognized for her outstanding contributions, she was honored as the Therapist of the Year in 2012 by the Contra Costa County D.A.'s office and Victims of Crime of California. Through a psych-educational approach and systems modality, Lori empowers her clients to develop vital skills to navigate anxiety, depression, and negative thought patterns.
