Basic Needs Assistance

Basic Needs Assistance, part of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul of San Mateo County, is dedicated to serving low-income individuals and families in San Mateo, CA, who face the ongoing challenges of food insecurity and basic necessities. Our mission is to alleviate hunger by providing emergency food assistance and essential resources such as clothing, sleeping bags, bus tokens, identification cards, laundry services, and mail handling. We strive to support those in need with compassion and urgency, ensuring that everyone has access to the basic needs that empower them to thrive.
