Casa Segura Drop-in Center in San Leandro, CA, serves as a welcoming haven for active injection-based substance users, offering essential services tailored to meet their immediate needs without the barriers of lengthy intake processes. Our mission is to foster health and wellbeing within this vulnerable community by providing vital resources such as a food pantry, shower and laundry facilities, and minor crisis intervention counseling. We also connect individuals with comprehensive referrals for additional support services, including HIV/HCV counseling and testing available by appointment throughout the week. Although our program is temporarily closed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we remain dedicated to standing by our community and advocating for their health and safety until we can fully reopen.
