Supported Living Services (SLS) in San Leandro, CA, is dedicated to empowering individuals with developmental disabilities to achieve independence and thrive in their daily lives. We provide essential support for those requiring more than nine hours of assistance each week, including up to 24-hour care, ensuring that our clients can navigate their routines with confidence. Our comprehensive programs encompass meal planning, grocery shopping, cooking, household maintenance, and guidance for scheduling and attending medical and dental appointments. We also offer support in utilizing public transportation and personal assistance for physical and personal care needs. In addition, SLS offers crucial help with public benefits such as SSI, Social Security, IHSS, MediCal, and MediCare, along with assistance in securing safe, affordable housing and finding suitable housemates. Our commitment to safety is underscored by a 24-hour emergency response system, enabling our clients to respond to emergencies with peace of mind. To access our services, individuals must be clients of the Regional Center.
