Our Space Community Center

Our Space Community Center, located in San Leandro, CA, is a welcoming and affirming environment dedicated to serving LGBTQIA+ youth ages 13-24 throughout Alameda County. We understand the unique challenges faced by LGBTQIA+ individuals and strive to provide a safe haven where they can authentically express themselves, feel valued, and connect with peers. Our offerings include supportive community events, a gender-affirming clothing closet, a vital food pantry for emergency food assistance, peer support groups, and internet access to foster connections. In response to the ongoing challenges posed by COVID-19, we are committed to supporting our community through individual phone and group Zoom sessions, ensuring that homeless LGBTQIA+ youth have access to essential housing and food assistance. At Our Space, every young person is seen, celebrated, and empowered.
