Mercy Brown Bag Program

The Mercy Brown Bag Program is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to seniors in San Leandro and throughout Alameda County, delivering nutritious groceries twice a month at no cost. Each grocery bag is filled with a variety of wholesome items, including fresh milk, tomatoes, green peppers, potatoes, carrots, oatmeal, plums, canned goods, low-sodium spaghetti sauce, peanut butter, tuna, eggs, and more, helping to meet the basic nutritional needs of our valued seniors. We invite seniors in need of emergency food support to visit one of our distribution sites to sign up for our services, where our friendly team will assist you. Together, we are committed to enhancing the well-being of our community’s elders through accessible and caring food support.
