Nutrition Program

The Nutrition Program in Rialto, CA, is dedicated to enhancing community health through the expertise of our skilled Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDN) and Health Education Specialists (HES). As part of the Department of Public Health, we strive to provide residents with up-to-date nutrition knowledge and health information. Our mission encompasses promoting healthy eating habits, food resource management, and encouraging an active lifestyle, ensuring that healthy choices are easily accessible in various environments including homes, schools, and workplaces. We offer personalized nutrition assessments, educational support for programs like the Child Health & Disability Prevention (CHDP) and the Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program (CLPP), as well as vital technical assistance for the Senior Nutrition Program. By collaborating with community partners, we work to create supportive environments that empower residents of Rialto to lead healthier lives.
