California's Work Opportunities and Responsibilities to Kids (CalWORKs) program in Murrieta, CA, is dedicated to supporting needy families with minor children who are facing financial difficulties. Our mission is to empower families by providing temporary financial assistance to help them meet essential needs during challenging times. CalWORKs goes beyond immediate aid by offering a variety of resources aimed at fostering self-sufficiency, including financial support, basic skills classes, vocational and occupational training for certifications or degrees, and short-term vocational training, including English-as-a-Second Language courses. While our Temporary Assistance program generally limits assistance to 48 months for adults, there are exceptions available to better serve the community. We are committed to helping families rebuild their lives and achieve lasting independence.
