Home-Delivered Meals

At the Merced County Area Agency on Aging, we understand the importance of nutrition for individuals aged 60 and older who are homebound due to illness, incapacity, or disability. Our Home-Delivered Meals program is dedicated to ensuring that no one goes hungry by providing critical food assistance directly to their doors. Each week, our caring staff delivers five ready-to-heat meals, tailored to meet the needs of our participants. We believe in fostering well-being through food, which is why we also offer quarterly nutrition education to empower our seniors with knowledge about healthy eating. To access this vital service, an in-home assessment is required to determine eligibility; however, we embrace flexibility with some exceptions considering individual circumstances. Serving the Merced, CA area, we are committed to uplifting our community members with compassionate support and essential meals.
