Alameda Meals on Wheels (AMOW) is dedicated to ensuring that residents of Hayward, CA, have access to hot, nutritious meals every day of the week. Our program serves individuals of all ages who may need food assistance due to factors such as recent surgery, inability to shop for groceries, or difficulty in cooking meals. With our sliding fee scale, we make meal delivery accessible to everyone, reflecting our commitment to inclusivity and care. Each day, meals are expertly prepared by the kitchen staff at Bayview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and delivered by our compassionate volunteers, who often become a vital source of support and companionship for our homebound recipients.
