Alameda Meals on Wheels (AMOW) is a vital community service located in Fremont, CA, dedicated to delivering hot, nutritious meals to residents of Alameda who are in need of food assistance. Our program operates seven days a week, catering to individuals of all ages who may be recovering from surgery, facing mobility challenges, or unable to prepare their own meals. We offer home-delivered meals with a sliding fee scale to ensure everyone can access our services based on their financial situation. Each meal is freshly prepared daily by the dedicated kitchen staff at Bayview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, while our wonderful volunteers not only facilitate meal deliveries but also provide essential companionship, often becoming the only source of personal interaction for many of our homebound recipients.
