Women, Infants and Children (WIC)

The Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Program in Escondido, CA, is dedicated to fostering healthy nutritional practices among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years of age. Our mission is to enhance the well-being of women and children during vital growth and development stages. Through our comprehensive services, we offer nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and monthly benefits that enable families to purchase nutritious foods. We proudly serve pregnant women, breastfeeding women for up to a year after childbirth, non-breastfeeding women up to six months postpartum, women who have experienced a pregnancy loss within the last six months, and all children under five years, including foster children. Additionally, fathers, grandparents, and caretakers can access WIC benefits for eligible infants and children.
