The Center For Healthy Communities (CHC) in Chico, CA, is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of low-income families, individuals, and seniors through comprehensive nutrition education and health programs. We strive to eliminate food insecurity and promote healthy lifestyles by offering vital resources such as one-on-one nutrition assistance, CalFresh Healthy Living, and access to food safety education. Our initiatives include the CSU Basic Needs Training & Resource Center, the Get Cookin' Summer Cooking Camp, and the Farm to School program, all designed to empower our community with the knowledge and skills to make healthier food choices.
