Alison Goldberg, MS, LPCC, NCC, is a dedicated counselor whose greatest reward comes from guiding clients towards transformative changes that enable them to embrace a hopeful future. Recognizing the intrinsic need for connection and acceptance, Alison provides a nurturing and non-judgmental space for individuals to explore their desires for a fulfilling life. With a Master's in Counseling and as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, she utilizes a variety of therapeutic approaches tailored to the unique needs of her clients. Alison specializes in addiction issues, mood disorders, and career development, offering support to those facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and life transitions. Her extensive experience includes working with clients on job loss, career dissatisfaction, grief, and navigating women's issues. Alison collaborates closely with the Department of Rehabilitation, assisting clients in accessing valuable vocational training, job placement, and educational resources. Additionally, she is well-versed in multiple career assessments, including the Myers-Briggs and Strong Interest Inventory, and has a background in college academic advising and admissions support. With her strength-based, person-centered approach, Alison empowers her clients to take confident steps toward building the lives they envision.
