Located in Carlsbad, CA, the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Program is dedicated to fostering healthy food habits among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children from birth to five years. Our mission is to enhance the well-being of women and children during critical periods of growth and development through vital services that include nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and monthly benefits for purchasing nutritious foods. WIC serves a diverse population, offering assistance to pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers within their first year, non-breastfeeding mothers up to six months postpartum, women who have experienced pregnancy loss in the past six months, and children under five, including foster children. We also extend our services to fathers, grandparents, and caretakers who are responsible for eligible infants and children. To find out if you qualify for our supportive programs, we encourage you to reach out via our contact form or visit us directly.
