Julie Cast

Julie Cast is a dedicated Marriage & Family Therapist and registered Art Therapist, holding credentials as an LMFT and ATR. With a degree from Loyola Marymount University earned in 2002, Julie specializes in helping individuals—including children, adolescents, adults, and elders—navigate through various life challenges such as trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship conflicts. Utilizing a blend of traditional talk therapy, expressive arts therapy, play therapy, and sand tray therapy, Julie assists clients in overcoming roadblocks to personal growth and development. She holds significant experience addressing issues such as sexual abuse, divorce, ADHD, and school refusal. Julie believes in honoring the unique strengths and attributes of each client, creating a respectful and nurturing environment for exploration and healing. She also emphasizes the importance of family dynamics in therapeutic work, guiding families to strengthen their understanding and unity while maintaining respect for the confidentiality of minors. In addition to individual and family therapy, Julie offers specialized groups focused on Adult Survivors of Childhood Abuse, Trauma Recovery, Social Skills Development, and Navigating Divorce.
