Abbie Cohen is a compassionate Marriage & Family Therapist (MA, LMFT) who understands that therapy is a relationship and a conversation. Abbie is dedicated to helping her clients discover solutions and believes that healing is possible. With her extensive experience, she is adept at addressing issues related to PTSD, trauma, sexual abuse/assault, depression, anxiety, and grief. She handles a variety of issues with grace and is comfortable navigating uncomfortable situations. Abbie works with individuals of all ages, from teens to adults, and embraces clients from diverse backgrounds. A specialized focus on first responders, including police and fire personnel, sets her apart. She is EMDR trained and integrates this powerful therapeutic approach into her practice. With a unique background as a former police officer and a deep understanding of the law enforcement experience through her marriage to a retired police officer, Abbie is well-suited to support those in high-stress professions.
